Terms of service

By creating a LodgeKit account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a lodge or outfitter, you agree on its behalf.

The service

LodgeKit is a tool for recording the gear your lodge lends out: trips, guests and their sizes, guide assignments, gear issued and returned, and damage reports. It is not a booking system, a rental agreement, an insurance record or a way to charge guests: any agreement about lost or damaged gear is between you and your guests. Records are only as good as what was entered. We aren't responsible for lost or damaged gear, returns or damage recorded wrongly, safety equipment you issue, or disputes between you and your guests or guides.

Your account

• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• The lodge owner controls who joins the lodge's account and can disable users at any time.
• Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, or access other lodges' data.

Plans and billing

• New lodges get a 30-day free trial without a card. After the trial, records stay readable, but adding or changing records needs a paid plan. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel any time from the Billing page; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds.
• If a plan lapses, your data stays, but adding and changing records, and logins for other people, stop working until you choose a plan again.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.

Your data

Your lodge's records belong to you. You can export them at any time, and we'll send a copy on request. See the privacy policy for what we store.

Availability

We work to keep LodgeKit running but can't promise it will never be down. The service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will email account owners about material changes. You can stop using LodgeKit at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
